I have 28 years of experience as a teacher of the gifted, principal of a school with a gifted program, and a school district director of a gifted program. I have also served on the California Association for the Gifted state board for 7 years and am currently advising the board in data analysis. I am retired after 38 years in public education and have created my own consulting firm, <span style="color:#009900;">Branch Consulting</span>, for supporting districts in gifted administration. I also make presentations to parents on a variety of topics related to gifted education.<br /><br /><span style="color:#ff0000;">My purpose in developing this blog is to support administrators of gifted programs. I am passionate about the needs of gifted children and gifted educators and want to do my part to support the needs.<br /></span><br />Please ask me questions or share frustrations.
